Piri Reis University’s 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the University’s Tuzla Maritime Campus.

The ceremony was hosted by Piri Reis University (PRU) Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Turkish Chamber of Shipping, Tamer Kıran, along with PRU Rector Prof. Dr. Nafiz Arıca. Among the attendees were Adalar Mayor Ali Ercan Akpolat, our Chamber’s Assembly President Başaran Bayrak, Board Member and Vice Chairman of PRU’s Board of Trustees Recep Düzgit, Board Member Orhan Gülcek, our Assembly Members, representatives from the maritime industry, faculty members, students, and their families.

In his speech during the ceremony, Tamer Kıran congratulated the graduating students and wished them success in the new chapter of their lives.

Following the speeches, certificates were presented to the top-ranking graduates.

The ceremony concluded with graduates from the Maritime Vocational School, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs receiving their diplomas and tossing their caps.
