Tamer Kıran Attended the Border Management & Consulting (BMC) Board Meeting
Our Chairman of the Board at Turkish Chamber of Shipping and Vice Chairman of the Board at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Tamer Kıran, attended the Border Management & Consulting (BMC) Board Meeting held at our Chamber on Friday, January 30, 2026.
The meeting, chaired by BMC Board Chairman Youssef Khalawi, focused on the modernization of border gates and related work on logistics centers.
Border Management & Consulting (BMC), established under the leadership of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu with the partnership of 137 Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, works in cooperation with the Customs and Tourism Enterprises Inc. (GTİ), which manages the modernization of Türkiye’s land border gates, and the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). BMC plans to modernize border customs gates and develop logistics centers in 57 Islamic countries and other regions worldwide.
