Tamer Kıran Attended the Closing Session of the Türkiye–Egypt Business Forum with the Participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi
Our Chairman of the Board at Turkish Chamber of Shipping and Vice Chairman of the Board at the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), Tamer Kıran, attended the Egypt–Türkiye Business Forum held in Cairo, Egypt, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The forum was organized in cooperation with the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), TOBB, and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) of Egypt.
The closing session of the forum was attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, and ministers from both countries.
The forum brought together over 850 Turkish and Egyptian businesspeople to discuss the development of commercial and economic relations between Türkiye and Egypt, the goal of increasing bilateral trade volume to 15 billion USD, and opportunities for cooperation in third countries.
