Our Chairman Tamer Kıran, attended the opening session of the Host Country Seminar held in Istanbul on Friday, October 17, 2025, within the scope of the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Federation of National Associations of Ship Brokers and Agents (FONASBA).

At the opening session, attended by Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Durmuş Ünüvar, Tamer Kıran delivered a speech. Following the speeches, FONASBA President Fulvio Carlini presented plaques to Durmuş Ünüvar and Tamer Kıran.

Our Vice Chairman of the Board, and President of the Maritime Association Of Shipowners and Agents, Recep Düzgit, moderated the session on “Navigation in the Turkish Straits,” which featured speakers including General Manager of Coastal Safety at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Mustafa Bankaoğlu, and Maritime Association Of Shipowners and Agents Board Members Henryk Drowniak and Cihangir İnanç.

With the support of our Turkish Chamber of Shipping, the Maritime Association Of Shipowners and Agents and the Turkish Ship Brokers Association, the FONASBA 2025 Annual General Meeting, held in Istanbul from October 14–17, brought together expert speakers from the international maritime community to share insights and views on global maritime regulations, standards, and strategies for the future of maritime transport.
